Rafael Azcona, the greatest Spanish screenwriter dies at 81
Following the sad passing of Rafael Azcona, Spain's most highly regarded screenwriter and the master of irony, we pay homage to his work with screening of two of his finest films, Placido and El Pisito.

We regret to announce that Alex de la Iglesia was finally unable to attend the Festval this year. At the time of printing the program, the sessions of the Oxford Murders were listed as Meet the Director Sessions and we regret any disappointment. He deeply regrets not being able to attend but has a sent a recorded introduction to his film.

On Friday nights there will be live Flamenco dancers and DJ Mick Williams from radio PBS FM will be playing Latin tunes from 6pm.
