ALL ABOUT TANGO
Be inspired by true stories from the greatest tango artists and learn about the history of tango. Launching on Good Friday, take part in a tango lesson following the four films in this section and kick off your Easter break with an eventful weekend. Suitable for all levels, from absolute beginners to regular Milonga goers, you’ll be given an insight into the art of tango under the instruction of Fabio Robles and Ana Andre, directors of the renowned Robles Dance Academy. SPANISH CUISINE AND FILM
Enjoy the finest Spanish wines and beer, live music and meet an array of international film stars, directors and guests at La Mirada Lounge. On both weekends, at 1.30pm watch insightful films about tango and take part in a free dance lesson suitable for all levels. Exclusive for our patrons at La Mirada Lounge. The successful section Spanish Cuisine and Film returns for 2010 on Easter Monday, prior to the screening of A Day at El Bulli (Un Día en El Bulli), a film about the best restaurant in the world. Enjoy a Spanish culinary feast of delicious tapas accompanied by Spanish wines.
After the screening of the hilarious comedy The Swindlers (Los Tramposos), join us to celebrate the last exciting night of the Festival at our Closing Night Party at La Mirada Lounge, Beer DeLuxe.
