Inspired by Hollywood monster epics from the forties and fifties, and rated as one of the top movies in Mexican cinematic history, this iconic horror film tells the tale of Marta, a young woman who embarks on a terrifying journey to visit her aunts. Upon arrival, she discovers that both aunts are affected by unknown forces, complicated by the presence of the mysterious Mr. Duval. This groundbreaking classic of the vampiric genre was enormously successful in Mexico and has amused and mesmerised an ever-growing legion of cult followers since its release in 1957.
