María receives a jigsaw puzzle for her 50th birthday and soon discovers, to her delight, a hidden talent for solving them. Awakened by her passion for her new hobby she answers an advertisement from Roberto, a man seeking a partner for a puzzle tournament. Despite her family’s misgivings, María forms a friendship with her fellow player, whose charming attention liberates her from a mundane routine as an exploited housewife. Puzzle is a wonderfully crafted film performed by one of the most dazzling casts in recent Argentinean cinema.
