CRISTIAN JIMENEZ
Before becoming a director, Chilean born Cristian Jiménez studied sociology in Santiago Chile. This interest in people saw him write many stories before culminating in the creation of numerous shorts films including XX(2006) and El tesero de los caracoles (2004). Jiménez co-wrote 199 Tips to be Happy (2008) and The Debutants (2002) before making his directorial debut with the insightful Optical Illusions, which once again recalls the sociology student fascinated by people and their stories.
