Bon Appétit is a delightful, unassuming and bittersweet film about a Basque chef, Daniel, who travels to Zurich to work in one of the finest restaurants in the world. There he falls in love with Hanna, a German sommelier. This engaging film, which won David Pinillos the Goya award for Best New Director, shows his remarkable mastery for storytelling and his exceptional ability to depict the complexities of love relationships and the fine line that separates friendship from true love.
