A Day at El Bulli (Un Día en El Bulli)

Overlooking a tiny Mediterranean bay in Roses, Catalonia, stands a charming and seemingly unpretentious restaurant: El Bulli. Behind its unimposing walls, master chef –part-time scientist, alchemist, magician and artist– Ferran Adriá has earned his reputation as one of the most inventive creators of contemporary haute cuisine. His brother, Albert, directed A Day at El Bulli (Un Día en el Bulli), a documentary that offers testimony and proof of the miraculous processes behind the scenes of the place that has been regarded as the best restaurant in the world for the last five years. A feast for the senses and the mind. "No meals will be served in El Bulli in 2012 and 2013," said Ferran Adria on the 26th of January 2010. Gourmets all over the world are in mourning as those who have reserved for a table years in advance, now must wait until doors reopen in 2014.

Presented by Entre Tapas y Vinos. Followed by a Q&A session with some of the most talented personalities of cuisine and wine in Australia.
