Mexican Fiesta at 9.30pm at Cinema Nova

Following the screening of Miss Bala, the film specially chosen by this year’s guest curator Gael Garcia Bernal, La Mirada invites you to a Mexican feast in Cinema Nova´s bar and foyer, with tequila cocktails and traditional Mexican cuisine. We will be giving away some wrestling Mexican masks on the night.

Music by Sonidero Esperanza, a Neo-Cumbia project by Mose Jemia & Don Bigotes from Mexico City. Mixing classic cumbia, mexican norteno, tropical sounds, electronic beats & techno will make sure to move your booty! Arrrrrriba! Sonidero Esperanza is also part of The Aztec Electronic Music, a community of latin artists putting on the best Fiestas in Melbourne this year.
