A heartwarming film that uses the land of legendary flamenco singer Camarón de la Isla as a stage. It tells the story of Isra, a gypsy boy, who stops singing whilst mourning his father, and of Makiko, a Japanese teenager fascinated with the figure of Camarón. She travels to the Island to learn how to sing and there meets the brother of her idol. An unforgettable and moving film, an unpretentious work of art by one of the handful of filmmakers who are redefining the cinematographic language.
