Jesús Almagro was a happy man when awarded Spain's National Award for Best Cook in 2006. His next challenge was to compete for the World Championship, the Bocuse d'Or. 24 top global chefs have 5.5 hours to, using three ingredients, create two magnificent and exquisite work of art dishes. Almagro thought he was up to the challenge, that preparing it was just a matter of time and skill. He was not ready for what lay ahead. This is the story of a big challenge to fulfil a dream, a tale of hopes and expectations, a funny, thrilling and compassionate journey towards greatness and self respect.
