Milagros, an eccentric taxi driver who rarely bothers picking up a fare, spots her old school friend Rosario on the street. This encounter reignites a beautiful friendship which profoundly alters each of their lives. The two end up working as street cleaners on the night shift, a job Rosario finds depressing but the more positive Milagros finds constant amusement in. The delicate and truthful performances of the lead actresses lend a lightness and warm humor to the dramatic events that unfold before them.
